A dark gray stone monument depicting two figures stands on a rough-hewn stone pedestal in a public square in Zlatograd, Bulgaria. The primary figure is a male, positioned centrally, wearing a traditional kalpak-like hat, mustache, jacket, trousers, and boots. His hands are clasped in front of him, holding a rectangular object, possibly a book, scroll, or a stylized weapon.
