A prominent birch tree with slender, drooping branches and light green leaves frames the right foreground and midground, its foliage partially obscuring the buildings and cars. In the distant background, majestic green mountains, indicative of the Stara Planina range, rise under the cloudy sky, displaying rocky outcrops and dense vegetation. Further down the street on the right, indistinct figures of approximately three to four people are visible standing or walking. Part of a white church or bell tower with a red roof is discernible in the far background, behind the buildings on the right. The scene is illuminated by natural daylight.
