An extensively damaged multi-story residential building stands under a clear blue sky in Khan Yunis, Palestinian Territory. The light-colored concrete facade of the structure, exhibiting at least four visible levels, is heavily fractured and pockmarked with numerous large, irregular openings where walls and windows have been destroyed. Remnants of balconies with balustrades are present on upper floors. Within the exposed interior spaces and openings, various white and light-colored tarps, fabric sheets, and blankets are suspended or draped, serving as makeshift partitions or temporary coverings. Garments are visible hanging to dry within some of these improvised shelters. At the lower levels, near the base of the building, a large mound of rubble, consisting of dirt, concrete fragments, and debris, is accumulated. A black plastic water tank is situated on this debris mound. A dark chair is discernible within one of the lower-level tarp-covered sections. The scene is illuminated by strong sunlight, casting defined shadows. No individuals are visible in the frame.
