This image depicts a vegetated retaining wall located in Viengthong, Laos. The upper section of the wall is constructed from grey concrete blocks, while the lower section appears to be an older, rougher concrete or stone structure. The majority of the wall is densely covered with small-leaved, bright green climbing plants, particularly in the upper and middle regions. Interspersed with this growth are areas of darker green foliage and visible white roots or tendrils from the climbing plants. A band of matted, dark brown and green plant matter, possibly moss or dried vegetation, stretches horizontally across the lower-middle portion of the wall.
