The scene is located in the city of Melakudikadu, India. A human hand, exhibiting dark skin pigmentation, holds two small, speckled eggs. One egg, appearing intact with dark brown speckles on an off-white to light beige shell, rests in the palm. A second, partially damaged egg, also speckled but with significant portions of its outer shell cracked or peeled to reveal a lighter inner membrane, is grasped between the thumb and forefinger.
