The cylindrical boiler body is partially wrapped in heavily creased, silver-colored aluminum foil insulation, which is torn in multiple places, revealing yellow fibrous insulation material beneath. The bottom section of the boiler is entirely exposed, showing three screw-in heating elements (TENs).
