The image displays a large, silver-scaled fish, identified as a Pacu species, viewed through the glass of an aquarium
The image displays a large, silver-scaled fish, identified as a Pacu species, viewed through the glass of an aquarium. The fish occupies the majority of the frame, positioned swimming towards the left. Its body is robust and oval-shaped, covered in small, reflective silver-grey scales. A prominent dark eye is visible on its head, which is slightly darker than its body. Multiple distinct, dark vertical reflections, originating from an external source resembling wooden planks, are superimposed on the fish's mid-to-rear body and the background, giving the impression of natural banding on the fish. The aquatic environment includes clear water, a light-colored sandy or fine gravel substrate at the bottom of the tank, and patches of green algae growth on the substrate and possibly some submerged dark vegetation in the background. A blurred, light-colored stone or concrete structure forms the visible base of the aquarium in the foreground. The water surface is visible near the top of the frame. No humans or other animals are directly visible within the tank or reflections. This aquatic exhibit is most likely located within the Sofia Zoo, Sofia, Bulgaria.
