The foreground is dominated by the back of an adult male, bald or with very short hair, wearing a white short-sleeved t-shirt, looking forward towards the river and bank. Vehicles are positioned on a wooden ferry platform, which is floating on a calm, brown body of water. From right to left on the ferry, a light green or silver minivan (possibly a Mazda) with roof racks is visible from its rear-right side. Behind it and slightly to the left, a black Toyota pickup truck with "TOYOTA" visible on its tailgate carries at least one individual in a yellow shirt in its truck bed, near the cab. Other less distinct vehicles are visible further back on the ferry. The front portion of a vehicle, likely the one from which the photograph was taken, is visible in the bottom right corner. To the left of the ferry, a river bank features numerous small, brightly colored boats (blue, yellow, green) pulled ashore. To the right and extending into the background, a steep, vegetated incline is covered with dense green and brown scrub brush. The sky is clear and light blue, devoid of clouds.
