This image depicts the interior of a chicken coop located in Gabrovo, Bulgaria
Short TermThis image depicts the interior of a chicken coop located in Gabrovo, Bulgaria. The structure is characterized by walls and a ceiling constructed from wooden framework covered with hexagonal chicken wire mesh. The mesh and underlying surfaces show significant signs of age, discoloration, and accumulated debris, including scattered feathers and what appears to be dust or dried droppings. Multiple horizontal wooden perches or branches are secured to the back wall. A weathered, vertical wooden post is visible on the left side of the frame, providing structural support. The floor consists of packed dirt, intermingled with straw, wood shavings, and spilled feed. Approximately eight to ten chickens are present within the coop. Most are domestic fowl with reddish-brown plumage, indicative of common laying hen breeds. One black-feathered chicken is partially visible in the mid-background. Several chickens are actively engaged in feeding from a grey, shallow, round bowl and a rectangular wooden trough, both containing granular feed, situated on the ground in the foreground. One chicken in the immediate foreground walks towards the viewer, while another in the mid-left background stands upright, observing its surroundings. A clear plastic bag containing a yellowish liquid, likely water or a supplement, is visible in the bottom right corner of the frame. Scattered feathers are observable on the ground and adhered to the chicken wire mesh.
