The image displays a low-angle view of the facade of the former Central Post Office Building (Centralposthuset) located at Vasagatan 28-34 in Stockholm, Sweden. The building, constructed between 1900 and 1904, exhibits a blend of reddish-brown brickwork and elaborate light-colored stone ornamentation in the National Romantic architectural style.

A grand arched entrance dominates the lower center of the image. Above this arch, in golden capital letters, the text "KONGL. POST" is prominently displayed. Directly beneath this, a carved inscription reads "DENNA BYGGNAD UPFÖRDES ÅREN 1900-1904 UNDER K. M. KONUNG OSKAR II REGERING," translating to "This building was erected in the years 1900-1904 under the reign of H.M. King Oscar II." A crowned head is carved into the arch's keystone, positioned below the "KONGL. POST" sign. Further below, an ornate escutcheon or coat of arms, flanked by carved garlands, is suspended above the entrance doors. On either side of the arch, within decorative niches, sculpted busts of human figures are visible; a bearded male figure is discernible on the left. Intricate floral, vegetal, and geometric patterns are carved into the stone framework surrounding the portal and extending up the facade.

A set of approximately eight light-colored stone steps leads up to the dark wooden double doors of the entrance, which feature multiple rectangular glass panes reflecting a bright sky. Curved, dark wooden handrails, supported by metal brackets, flank these steps on both sides. On the far lower left, a portion of a metal outdoor table and a chair are visible.

Above the entrance, on the third floor, a prominent stone balcony extends from the facade, adorned with detailed balustrades and a central crown motif. The upper sections of the building feature numerous tall, rectangular windows with dark frames, reflecting the sky. On the second floor, two identical streetlights with spherical white lamps, mounted on dark, curved metal arms, project from the brick facade; one is visible on the left, and another on the right side of the main architectural feature. No individuals are present in the scene.
