Stake attention in this memory
The image displays a close-up, profile view of mummified human remains, specifically the head, neck, and upper torso, set against a plain white background. The subject exhibits severely desiccated, dark, and shriveled skin with a leathery texture. The head, oriented to the left, shows a distinct profile with a prominent nose and chin, though facial features are largely obscured by post-mortem changes. Irregular, lighter-colored patches, possibly mineral deposits or fungal growth, are visible on the right temple and side of the skull. The neck and exposed upper right arm are deeply furrowed and dark. A shrunken, dark right hand with discernible fingers rests on the upper torso. The remains are partially enveloped in a coarse, yellowish, wrinkled textile, consistent with ancient burial wrappings, which is torn in several areas, revealing the underlying preserved skin. This mummy was discovered in El-Hedim square and is presently located at the Dar Jamai Museum in Meknes, Morocco.
