The scene depicts a traditional wall fountain located in M'diq, Morocco. The fountain is constructed against a plain white plastered wall. Its upper section features a rectangular panel composed of blue and white geometric patterned tiles. Below this, a sandstone frame, intricately carved with arabesque motifs, encloses an arch-shaped niche also filled with identical blue and white geometric tiles. The lower part of the fountain consists of a large, semi-circular stone basin, showing signs of weathering and some green biological growth. Inside the basin, a small, disposable coffee cup, white with a black lid and an orange label, rests off-center to the right. To the far right of the image, a vertical section of a blue latticework screen is visible against the white wall. The ground in front of the fountain is a light grey concrete surface.
