An industrial building in Pointe-Noire, Congo-Brazzaville, displays a large safety mural on its corrugated metal wall
MomentAn industrial building in Pointe-Noire, Congo-Brazzaville, displays a large safety mural on its corrugated metal wall. The mural features a stylized, open human hand with fingers extended, depicted in vertical stripes of orange, purple, and blue against a teal background. Large white, distressed capital letters spelling "SAUVE MOI" (French for "SAVE ME") are centrally positioned on the hand. Below the hand, the white text "La sécurité est entre tes mains" (French for "Safety is in your hands") is visible. Further below, smaller white French text details the mural's inauguration on June 1, 2019, for the 4th edition of HSE Week, involving the Minister of Hydrocarbons Bruno Jean Richard ITQUA and referencing Eni Congo and the Congolese oil sector. A black floodlight is mounted on the wall above the hand, illuminating the upper section of the mural. The lower portion of the mural, including some of the text, is partially obscured by a chain-link fence with vertical metal posts in the immediate foreground. The building wall to the left of the mural consists of white and light gray corrugated siding.
