This image depicts the main entrance to the Caves of Hercules (Grotte d'Hercule) located approximately 14 kilometers west of Tangier, Morocco, near Cap Spartel.

The central feature is a large, irregularly shaped cave mouth framed by natural rock formations. The rock face is primarily dark gray and brown, appearing rugged and weathered with various crevices and projections. Draped vegetation, consisting of dark green, vine-like plants, hangs from the upper-center portion of the cave's exterior. Numerous pigeons are perched on ledges and within recesses of the rock, both inside and outside the cave entrance. A flock of approximately 15-20 pigeons is visible on the right interior wall, with others scattered on ledges above the entrance and to the left.

The cave interior beyond the entrance appears dark, suggesting limited light penetration. Directly inside the cave entrance, a silver-colored metal barrier or gate, composed of multiple horizontal and vertical bars, obstructs passage. This barrier appears to be approximately waist-high. A second, similar barrier is partially visible further back and to the right, suggesting a controlled access point.

The ground leading to the cave entrance is an uneven, reddish-brown dirt or gravel path. Sparse, low-lying green vegetation is present in the foreground, particularly in the lower-left corner. The upper left corner of the image shows a sliver of light blue sky, indicating an outdoor setting. No people are visible within the frame. The overall lighting suggests daylight conditions. The bottom left corner contains a watermark "Galaxy S22 Ultra".
