The tail plumage displays numerous blue 'eyespots' against a backdrop of green and dark brown feathers. The bird's head and neck are a vibrant blue, transitioning to green plumage on its body. The chain-link fence, constructed of silver-colored wire forming diamond-shaped mesh, occupies the immediate foreground, slightly blurring the view of the bird.
