The image displays the exterior of a building in Gimmelwald, Switzerland
The image displays the exterior of a building in Gimmelwald, Switzerland. Two horizontal racks, constructed from metal bars, are affixed to the facade, each presenting a collection of traditional cowbells. The upper section of the building features light brown wooden paneling, interrupted by two white-framed, vertical rectangular windows. The lower section consists of white brickwork, with two horizontal rectangular windows visible. A metal gutter system runs along the roofline, and a metal downspout descends vertically on the right side of the building. The top rack holds approximately 25-30 cowbells, while the bottom rack holds approximately 20-25 cowbells. On both racks, the bells progress in size and appearance from left to right: the leftmost bells are larger, dark bronze or aged metal, and suspended by wide, often decorated leather straps. Towards the right, the bells become progressively smaller, lighter in metallic tone (appearing more silvery or brass), and attached with narrower, simpler leather straps. The background on the right side of the image reveals a steep, verdant green hillside densely covered with trees and grass, characteristic of alpine terrain. The sky overhead is partially cloudy with visible blue patches, indicating daytime. No individuals are present in the scene.
