Three people stand at the end of the pier looking out toward the horizon. The scene is overcast and it appears to be late afternoon or early evening. The water in the background has a dark gray appearance and the horizon is light gray. A few trees can be seen in the distance on the opposite bank. The photo appears to have been taken from a slight elevation, the ground in front of the fence is covered in grass and is slightly sloped. The wooden pier is lit with a string of LED lights that give off an orange glow. There is a small, bright red-orange buoy, slightly to the left of the pier, and another smaller, out of focus, object that is also red-orange. A single light pole can be seen on the pier. The light pole appears to be broken and bent. There is no other vegetation that can be seen in the scene.
