In Keo Kouang, Laos, the image presents a close-up, high-angle view of an embellished red textile draped over a human hand. The upper portion of the fabric consists of a sheer, fine-mesh red material. Below this, a scalloped border made of a denser, opaque red fabric is visible, extending diagonally across the lower half of the frame. This border is intricately adorned with gold-colored thread embroidery forming web-like and swirling patterns. Dark green/bronze seed beads are arranged in dense, curvilinear designs that follow the scalloped edge. Interspersed among these embellishments, primarily on the left side of the border, are numerous round, translucent red sequins and smaller red spherical beads, along with a few clear or iridescent beads.
