This outdoor scene, located in the city of Bar, Montenegro, features a zoological or park-like animal enclosure predominantly covered in short-cropped green grass. In the immediate foreground, a male Indian Peafowl (Pavo cristatus) with iridescent blue and green plumage and an elongated, ocellated tail is captured in profile, walking towards the left. The grass is interspersed with small white stones and scattered dry twigs. To the left of the frame, a series of wire mesh animal enclosures with integrated wooden shelters are visible, extending into the mid-ground. A bright pink and blue plastic children's slide rests against one of these cages.
