A natural waterway, characterized by multiple pools of clear, light turquoise-green water, flows through the center foreground and middle ground, bounded by large, smooth, grey-white rock formations. Steep, rocky hillsides flank both sides of the valley. The hillsides are covered with a mix of vegetation, including numerous deciduous trees with bare branches, particularly on the upper slopes, and denser evergreen foliage closer to the valley floor. Sparse shrubs and grasses grow among the rocks and along the water's edge. On the right side, a dark, rocky cliff face rises steeply, displaying some small agave-like plants. Approximately 10 to 15 individuals are present within the scene. On the left bank, in the middle distance, a dirt path leads towards a rudimentary shelter with a yellowish-tan tarp roof. A group of approximately four individuals are walking on this path near the shelter. Other individuals are dispersed along the rocky banks of the waterway, standing or sitting. One individual in dark clothing is visible near the water's edge against the rocky cliff on the far right. A thin, light-colored rope or cable stretches horizontally across the upper middle ground, attached to the right cliff face.
