Five Red-eared Slider turtles are observed basking on a large, grey rock partially submerged in still, green-tinted water in Başakşehir, Turkey. Three turtles are clustered towards the center-rear of the rock; one large individual faces away from the viewer, while two smaller turtles are partially stacked behind it, displaying prominent red temporal stripes. Two additional turtles are situated on the lower front sections of the rock, also exhibiting red temporal markings. The water surface shows minimal ripples under direct sunlight. No human subjects are present.
