A single, raw squid is presented on a smooth, white, slightly wet surface, identified as being located in the city of Two Creeks, Canada. The squid's mantle measures approximately 15-20 cm in length, displaying a predominant reddish-brown coloration with numerous darker chromatophores and distinct, irregular white markings. The head region exhibits a darker purplish-blue tint, from which multiple light-colored, cream-to-pale-pink arms and tentacles extend. These appendages are speckled with dark chromatophores and feature visible suckers along their inner surfaces. The squid is positioned horizontally, with its tentacles fanned out to the left side of the frame. A thin layer of clear liquid is visible on the white surface surrounding the specimen.
