The flower features approximately twenty-three vivid red petals, some displaying minor tears and irregularities along their edges, particularly on the lower left side. The central disk of the flower is composed of numerous small, bright yellow stamens/pistils, surrounded by a darker maroon-purple ring at the base of the petals. The background consists of out-of-focus green foliage of various plants and some patches of reddish-brown soil. A faint spiderweb is visible across some of the upper right petals and extending into the background. Natural light illuminates the scene, casting no distinct shadows.
