The image displays the Russia–Georgia Friendship Monument, located on the Georgian Military Road near Gudauri, Georgia. The central subject is a large, semicircular stone and concrete structure featuring a monumental mosaic mural on its inner concave surface. The mosaic, composed of numerous colorful ceramic tiles, depicts a rich array of scenes, including historical events, mythological figures, and daily life, utilizing vibrant reds, blues, greens, yellows, and whites. Below the mosaic, a series of stone arches form an open arcade, beyond which a grey metal balustrade runs along the edge of a viewing platform.
