It consists of several buildings with brightly colored roofs, including a blue-roofed building. These buildings are situated on a rocky, barren slope. Some greenery is scattered around the buildings. Further up the slope, the mountain is covered in rocks and scree. There are also some structures that appear to be ruins higher up the mountain. The environment is arid and mountainous, characteristic of the region around Leh. The sky is not visible in the frame. There are no people clearly visible in the image.
