The image displays a close-up, downward-angled view of a cut tree stump located in Pinnwe, Myanmar (Burma). The central subject is a roughly circular tree stump, approximately 30-40 cm in diameter, exhibiting a light tan to yellowish-brown cut surface with concentric growth rings and radial cracks. Irregular patches of dark grey/black discoloration and lighter white streaking are visible on the top surface of the stump. Its lateral bark is dark brown. The base of the stump is partially covered with dark green moss and surrounded by small green herbaceous plants, some bearing minute white/purple flowers. The ground surrounding the stump consists of reddish-brown soil, interspersed with additional herbaceous vegetation and several thin, bare branches or twigs.
