The image depicts a riverside street scene in Peso da Régua, Portugal, under an overcast sky. In the immediate foreground, a portion of a dark vehicle interior is visible at the lower left, including the side-view mirror, which is wet and reflects indistinct shapes. The mirror's frame is black. The scene features a wet asphalt road surface, extending from the lower left to the mid-left, with a rectangular storm drain grate near the curb. A line of vehicles is parked along the left side of the road, facing towards the background. The most prominent vehicle is a silver Peugeot 208 hatchback with Portuguese license plate "JP 97 GF," parked parallel to the curb. A white commercial van is parked directly in front of the Peugeot. A red-bordered triangular warning sign featuring a black pedestrian symbol is mounted on a pole further down the street on the left. Adjacent to the road is a wet sidewalk paved with light grey rectangular cobblestones, extending towards the right and into the background.
