The central pseudostem transitions from green growth at its apex to a more fibrous, brown appearance lower down, where dried leaf remnants are present. Multiple large banana leaves, some exhibiting tears and browned edges, extend from the pseudostem. A large bunch of green, unripe bananas, composed of several hands, hangs vertically from the plant on a long, ribbed stalk. A reddish-purple banana blossom (male flower) is visible at the very end of this fruit stalk, partially obscured by a lower green leaf. Minimal additional dark green foliage from other plants is visible in the bottom right corner of the frame.
