The image depicts the interior of the Dominican Church, also known as the Greek Catholic Church of the Holy Eucharist, located in Lviv, Ukraine. The scene presents a grand Baroque architectural style, viewed from the nave looking towards the main altar and upwards into the dome. The dominant color palette consists of cream-colored walls and architectural elements, extensively adorned with gold leaf ornamentation. Large grey/blue marble columns are prominent in the central altar area. The main altar features a large crucifix positioned above a framed icon. Four substantial fluted columns, with golden Corinthian capitals, flank the crucifix. Below these columns, several dark-colored statues of figures are visible. The altar area is highly ornate, incorporating a radiant sunburst motif above the crucifix. On the left side of the nave, a multi-tiered, intricately carved pulpit is situated, topped with a small golden figure. The church walls rise in several tiers. The lower tiers feature arched openings and balconies with ornate white and gold railings. Numerous gilded statues, depicting religious figures, are positioned in various niches, on ledges, and within decorative frames throughout the mid and upper levels of the structure. Arched windows with clear panes are present in the upper tiers, admitting natural light. The ceiling culminates in a domed structure, with faint traces of painted frescoes visible. In the foreground, towards the bottom of the image, smaller altars are visible, displaying lit candles and floral arrangements. Two white banners, embroidered with designs, hang vertically on the left side, near the pulpit. No individuals are depicted within the scene. The entire interior appears well-maintained.
