A weathered double-leaf metal door, painted a muted brown and covered in dust, is centered within a recessed arched entrance in Sarouja Municipality, Syria. The archway and vertical jambs are constructed from alternating courses of reddish-brown and dark grey rectangular stone blocks. Above the door, within the arch, a horizontal transom section features multiple horizontal slats, partially obscured, with a thin wire hanging above it. Each door leaf is adorned with symmetrical, decorative wrought ironwork, featuring two fan-like motifs in the upper section and a single diamond shape in the lower. Each leaf has a spherical, dark-colored doorknob, and a keyhole is visible on the right door leaf. To the immediate left of the entrance, the wall is composed of light reddish-brown bricks with horizontal striations. To the immediate right, the wall surface is plain, light-colored, and shows signs of wear. A light-colored stone threshold sits at the base of the door, and the ground in front is paved with irregular grey flagstones. No individuals are present.
