The image depicts an outdoor scene at dusk or early evening, centered on two large, illuminated equine head sculptures known as The Kelpies, located in Helix Park, Falkirk, United Kingdom. The sky is heavily overcast with dark grey clouds. In the foreground, on the left, a silver birch tree with stark, bare branches extends diagonally from the lower left towards the top right, partially obscuring the left sculpture. Its trunk exhibits characteristic white and dark grey patterned bark. On the right side of the foreground, a bright green, cylindrical bicycle repair station stands upright, featuring "GREASEMONKEY" and "INFRASTRUCTURE" text printed vertically, along with a pump attached. The midground consists of a paved area made of rectangular light and dark grey blocks, stretching from the bottom of the frame towards the background. On this paved surface, a linear arrangement of at least seven dark wooden picnic tables with attached benches is visible, extending towards the sculptures. To the left of the paved area, a neatly mown green lawn covers the ground. The two prominent Kelpies sculptures, constructed from interwoven metallic plates, are situated in the background. The left sculpture presents a horse's head looking mostly forward, while the right sculpture depicts a horse's head in a rearing pose, looking upwards and to the right. Both sculptures are illuminated from their bases by warm artificial lights. Several indistinct human figures are visible walking on a path behind the picnic tables and near the bases of the sculptures. In the far background, power lines and a large pylon are discernible against the horizon, with a line of bare deciduous trees below.
