The image displays a historical marker in front of the Xiyanglou Area (Western Buildings), built from 1747-1759 during the Qing Dynasty. Covering 80,000 square meters, it encompassed various structures like Xieqiqu, Haiyan Hall, and Dashuifa. Designed by European missionaries and constructed by Chinese artisans, it blended baroque and rococo architectural styles with Chinese landscape elements. In 1786, the "Copper Engravings of Xiyanglou" was completed. It symbolizes China's effort to build a Western-style garden and fostered cultural exchange between China and the West.
