MomentThis image depicts a narrow forest stream in late winter or early spring, located within the Rotwildpark area near Bärenschlössle in Stuttgart, Germany. The stream flows from the background towards the foreground, occupying the central portion of the frame. Its water is relatively shallow and appears dark, with visible ripples and submerged rocks on its bed. In the immediate foreground, a large, flat, irregular light-grey rock slab extends from the bottom right corner into the stream, partially submerged on its left edge. The right bank is covered with a thick layer of brown, dry leaves and features several tree trunks, some with moss or lichen. The left bank is a gentle incline lined with a series of moss-covered, light-grey rocks, forming a reinforced edge. Above these rocks, scattered green ground cover emerges through a layer of brown leaves, extending up a slight rise into the forest. Both banks are densely forested with predominantly bare deciduous trees, their trunks varying in thickness and reaching upwards towards an overcast, pale grey sky. Fallen branches and leaf litter are present throughout the forest floor. The stream curves slightly to the right as it recedes into the background, disappearing into the dense arrangement of trees. No individuals, animals, or artificial structures are visible in the scene.
