A large, mature tree, identified as a Cannonball Tree (*Couroupita guianensis*), stands under clear blue skies in บ้านบางรักษ์, Thailand. The robust, greyish-brown trunk exhibits a rough, textured bark with prominent knobs and scars. Numerous branches extend upwards and outwards, bearing distinctive spherical to ovoid fruits, approximately 10-20 cm in diameter, with a hard, brown, textured outer shell. These fruits are attached directly to the trunk and main branches via stout peduncles, often appearing in clusters. Interspersed among the branches are several large, complex flowers featuring reddish-pink and yellow petals with a central, intricate staminode structure. Scattered green leaves are visible, along with a few dried, autumnal-colored leaves clinging to branches. Bright sunlight emanates from the upper left, casting strong illumination and creating a lens flare. The perspective is from a low angle, looking up into the tree's canopy. No individuals or man-made objects are visible.
