An adult crocodilian, consistent with a crocodile species, is depicted at rest within an exhibition enclosure at the Sofia Zoo in Sofia, Bulgaria. The large reptile, possessing dark grey-green scales with distinctive yellowish ventral and flank coloration, lies prone on a mixed substrate of light brown soil, scattered grey river stones of various sizes, and dark brown wood chips. Its head is oriented towards the right side of the frame, with eyes open and mouth closed, revealing a line of serrated teeth along the upper jaw. The background consists of a textured, light brown rock-like formation on the left and a rough, mottled teal-green wall on the right. A transparent viewing barrier, exhibiting minor reflections, is visible in the extreme foreground.
