The cat is positioned in the lower-middle frame, near the base of a dark, textured tree trunk on the right. Its fur is predominantly ginger with lighter cream areas, and its front paws are extended forward into the grass. The ground consists of tall, verdant grass blades, interspersed with patches of dark soil and some small clover-like plants. In the mid-ground, a stone birdbath or fountain with an ornate base is visible, situated on a slightly elevated area.
