An uncolored, full-length statue of a female figure, consistent with depictions of the Virgin Mary, stands with hands clasped on a teal-colored, multi-tiered shelf or niche. The statue, appearing to be crafted from wood or stone, is situated high on an off-white wall in the interior of a building in Machakos Central ward, Kenya. The teal niche features a flat backplate, a semicircular platform with concentric rings supporting the statue, and a pointed conical finial extending downwards. The top edge of the niche conforms to an angled ceiling or architectural line. The surrounding walls and ceiling are off-white, with minor surface discoloration visible along the wall-ceiling joint. A dark brown wooden frame, consistent with a window or door, is partially visible in the lower right of the frame. No individuals are present.
