The image displays an *Asplenium nidus* fern, approximately 60 cm in diameter, growing from a weathered concrete balcony on a building in Bogor, Indonesia. The fern, vibrant green with some browning at its base, is rooted at the junction of a faded blue-painted concrete ledge and a larger, light blue-painted stucco wall that dominates the right side of the frame. Below the main fern, a corrugated metal sheet, discolored with faded blue paint and rust, extends downwards as an awning or roof section. Above the fern and to the left, a concrete balustrade with ornate, possibly classical, pillars and a faded blue top rail is visible. A red fabric awning is draped over a portion of this balustrade, secured by a thin dark wire or rope. Behind the balustrade, a light green-painted wall features a triangular brown window frame. A dark, angular roof overhang is partially visible in the extreme upper left. Smaller plants and roots hang from the main fern growth and along the various weathered structural elements. No individuals are present.
