A medium, high-angle shot shows a man peeling tape off a sign for a tobacco store, in what is identified through the lettering on the sign as Plovdiv, Bulgaria
A medium, high-angle shot shows a man peeling tape off a sign for a tobacco store, in what is identified through the lettering on the sign as Plovdiv, Bulgaria. The man is fair-skinned with short brown hair and is wearing a black t-shirt and black track pants with black shoes. He is leaning over a blue sign with white lettering on the left, with red signs in Cyrillic on the right, including "ЦИГАРИ" (cigars). The man's head and upper body are visible, and he is turned towards the camera. He is holding a piece of white tape in his left hand and peeling it from the blue sign, while his right hand is holding the tape further along the sign. He is wearing a black watch on his left wrist. The storefront sign he is working on has "ИТЕЛЬ" in large white letters on a dark blue background. To the right of the blue sign, the rest of the store front has red signs, black Cyrillic letters and advertisements. Part of a ladder is visible to the right of the frame, and behind the ladder is an area of brick pavers. The storefront sign is adjacent to the side of the building which is concrete. At the top left of the frame are concrete blocks and a tangled mass of wires. Above the man's legs, there are advertisements, stickers, and posters visible through the store windows. The angle and proximity of the photo create a sense of being situated above the man.
