An exterior scene depicts the corner of a building in Akul'shet, Russia, under an overcast sky. The lower section of the building is constructed from light-colored, possibly pale yellow or off-white, bricks, with a patch of darker red bricks visible on the far left. A prominent vertical crack extends through the brickwork at the corner. Above the brickwork, an upper section is clad in weathered vertical wooden siding, topped by a roof with a dark green metallic gutter system and downspout that runs vertically down the corner. A white-framed window is set into the brick wall, beneath which a bright red metal cabinet with two hinged doors is securely mounted. The window's sill exhibits rust. To the right, a recessed entrance or passageway is formed by an extension of the brick wall and a small overhang.
