A low-angle shot shows a penjor against a clear, bright blue sky. The penjor, a tall, curved bamboo pole decoration used in Balinese Hindu ceremonies, is topped with a tuft of black, fibrous material resembling hair. A yellow and white banner is attached to the middle of the pole. Another, smaller tuft of the same black material is tied further down the pole, close to the bottom of the visible section. The pole appears to be made of bamboo, with visible nodes along its length. The photograph was taken in Mengwi, Indonesia.
