An abandoned swing carousel ride stands in an open area in Tinaquillo, Venezuela, under a partly cloudy sky suggestive of dawn or dusk. The ride consists of a central blue vertical pole braced by yellow supports, from which green radial arms extend to a maroon-colored, scalloped circular canopy. Approximately twenty individual metal swing seats, many appearing weathered, hang by chains from the canopy's perimeter. A blue motor unit is visible at the base of the central pole. The ground is covered with light-colored gravel. A low, white-painted concrete block wall encircles the immediate area.
