A low-angle, full frontal exterior view captures the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord (Храм Преображение Господне) in Borovets, within the municipality of Samokov, Bulgaria. The building, constructed in a log cabin style, features dark, horizontal wooden walls. The main entrance is centrally positioned, characterized by yellow double doors adorned with a white sheer fabric and a small bouquet of white and light blue flowers. Above the doors, a yellow decorative pediment-like structure bears a small golden cross at its apex and the Cyrillic inscription "ХРАМ ПРЕОБРАЖЕНИЕ ГОСПОДНЕ" (Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord) and "К.К. БОРОВЕЦ" (Borovets Resort Complex). Two rectangular windows with yellow frames and multiple panes flank the entrance. Above the main structure, a dark wooden bell tower rises, featuring a slatted opening and a pointed, shingled roof topped with a simple grey cross. The base of the church is constructed from rough-hewn grey stones. A concrete staircase with several steps leads up to the entrance, equipped with a dark metal handrail on the left, decorated with small white spherical elements. The immediate ground in front of the stairs is paved with irregularly shaped stone slabs, with sparse dirt and grass visible between them. The church is enveloped by tall, dense evergreen trees (conifers), with bright sunlight streaming through the foliage on the left side of the frame, creating lens flare. The sky is bright and clear. No individuals are present.
