The image depicts the Église Saint-Thomas (St. Thomas Church) in Strasbourg, France, under an overcast, grey twilight sky. The prominent structure is constructed of reddish-brown sandstone, featuring a tall square bell tower with an illuminated clock face and arched belfry openings, capped by a dark, steeply pitched roof. A large circular rose window is centered above the main entrance on the church's western facade, which is partially illuminated by warm artificial lights. To the right of the church, a low, white-painted wall with a dark arched entrance extends along a cobblestone street. On the left side of the cobblestone street, older, multi-story buildings with light-colored facades and dark roofs line the thoroughfare, with a red circular 'no entry' sign affixed to one building. Approximately 10-15 individuals are present on the street; several are walking, two are seated on a dark bench near the church entrance, and two others are standing adjacent to another bench near the white wall. A portion of a dark vehicle is visible on the far left. A small blue and red circular sign is affixed to the white wall. Streetlights are visible in the distance along the curving street.
