The scene depicts a ground-level view within the city of Petriškė, Lithuania. Three mushrooms are present, each featuring a pale brownish-pink to light tan cap with irregular edges. The caps exhibit areas of white, granular residue or fungal growth, particularly on the two lower specimens, and small fragments of dark, decaying organic matter. The top mushroom's gills are partially visible beneath its cap. The ground is densely covered with a layer of wet, decaying deciduous leaves, ranging in color from dark brown to blackish-grey, interspersed with scattered green grass blades and reddish-brown pine needles.
