A single Red-eared slider turtle (Trachemys scripta elegans) is observed stationary on an unpaved, dry earthen surface. The turtle's carapace displays a pattern of olive-green, black, and yellow striations on its scutes, with significant areas of faded white or light grey discoloration, possibly indicating dried residue or shedding. Its head, visible from the left side, is green with thin yellow stripes, and a prominent oval-shaped orange-red patch is present behind its left eye. Its forelegs and hind legs are partially extended from beneath the shell, resting on the ground. The immediate environment consists of compact, light brown to greyish soil, uneven in texture, with scattered small pebbles and larger stones. The scene is situated in Ketowan, Indonesia.
