MomentIn Ravda, Bulgaria, a large, framed tapestry, a needlepoint rendition of Leonardo da Vinci's "The Last Supper," is mounted centrally on a plain white wall. The artwork portrays thirteen male figures: Jesus Christ is centrally positioned with outstretched hands, flanked by six disciples on each side, all seated behind a long table. The figures exhibit diverse reactions and interactions, gesturing and conversing amongst themselves. The table is draped with a white tablecloth detailed with blue patterns, and scattered with small, dark, circular objects (dishes). The background features architectural elements including columns, patterned walls (vertical blue and white stripes, and a darker patterned section), and three arched openings revealing a distant landscape. The lower portions of some figures' feet are visible beneath the table. The tapestry is enclosed within an ornate, gold-colored frame, characterized by a textured outer molding and a smoother inner molding with a repeating circular decorative motif. Above the frame, a white utility pipe or conduit runs horizontally across the upper section of the white wall, which shows minor surface marks.
