A detailed view of an ornate, light-colored stone architectural column is presented, exhibiting weathered surfaces, minor chipping, and discoloration. The column is adorned with extensive carvings. The central feature is a carved female head, facing forward, with a crown from which stylized wings protrude horizontally. The head displays a pensive expression, features pendant earrings, and a decorative bow beneath the chin, from which drapery extends. Flanking the head on both sides are carved stylized lion heads with open mouths. Below the central head, a large carved garland of fruit, including grapes, apples, and pomegranates, interwoven with foliage and ribbons, contains multiple small cherubic figures (putti). Similar fruit garlands with additional cherubic figures extend vertically along the sides of the column. Below the central fruit garland, an oval-shaped medallion with a beaded border is carved, suspended by a ribbon tied in a bow. The top and bottom of the column's decorated section feature carved laurel wreath motifs. The column transitions into a fluted base below these decorations. The column is positioned against a building wall constructed of light reddish-brown, rectangular and square blocks, possibly rusticated, with deeply recessed mortar lines. This architectural feature is located on the facade of the Croatian State Archives (Hrvatski državni arhiv) building, Marulićev trg 21, in the City of Zagreb, Croatia.
