A rectangular ornament, approximately 10 cm by 12 cm, features a deeply textured, three-dimensional painting of a landscape rendered in an expressive, non-naturalistic style, characteristic of Armenian art and evocative of the region around Yerevan, Armenia. The upper third of the artwork displays a light blue sky with stylized white cloud shapes above three prominent mountain peaks, one colored pink and two blue. Below these, undulating hills are depicted in vibrant yellow and green. The mid-ground reveals a yellow building with a blue roof, surrounded by terraced fields and clusters of stylized green and yellow trees. On the left side, a purple cliff face is prominent, alongside tall, dark blue, narrow trees. In the lower-center, a group of small, multi-colored figures are visible within dense green foliage. A small black cat-like figure is positioned at the extreme lower left. A blue stream flows towards the bottom right, terminating in a blue conical shape containing an orange tear-drop or flame-like element. The painting is framed by a raised, glossy golden border. The ornament is suspended by a small, fluted golden cap and loop from a curved, thin, polished brass-colored metal stand. The background is a uniform black, appearing to be a velvet or felt fabric.
