The scene depicts an outdoor ground area in Madalla, Nigeria. The dominant feature is light brown, sandy soil mixed with small gravel and pebbles. Trailing across this ground are several green plants. A vine with large, green, broadly cordate leaves is visible, extending from the upper left towards the lower center. Attached to this vine, slightly left of the image's center, is a single, oval-shaped, smooth, light green fruit, approximately 10-15 cm in length. Other smaller green plants, some with trifoliate leaves, are interspersed throughout the soil. In the upper right quadrant, a portion of a second, similar light green fruit is partially visible, along with a spiky, light green inflorescence. A small, irregular white piece of debris rests on the soil in the lower central-right area. No human or animal subjects are present.
